1. About C-Australia Tours

C-Australia Tours is operated by Christian Nikolajsen as an Australian sole trader based in Victoria, Australia.

We provide private, tailor-made journeys throughout Australia, including personal guiding, transport, accommodation and meals as specified in each individual travel agreement.

These terms apply to bookings with C-Australia Tours unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Bookings and confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when C-Australia Tours has accepted the reservation in writing and received the agreed deposit.

Before payment, guests will receive details of their travel dates, price, number of participants, main inclusions and any relevant special arrangements.

The person making the booking should ensure that all other participants have an opportunity to read these terms. Each participant retains their statutory rights.

3. Prices and inclusions

All prices are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD).

C-Australia Tours is not registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST), and GST is not charged.

The agreed price and inclusions are specified in the written travel proposal or booking confirmation.

International flights, visas, personal purchases, travel insurance and services not expressly included are the guest’s responsibility.

4. Deposit and payment

A 10% deposit of the total journey price is payable within 14 days of receiving the booking confirmation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The remaining balance is due 30 days before the journey begins.

For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is due within three days or before departure, whichever comes first.

Payment instructions will be provided by C-Australia Tours.

If payment is overdue, we will contact the guest before considering cancellation. Any applicable charges or refunds will be handled in accordance with these terms and applicable law.

5. Cancellation by the guest

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@c-australia.com.

We understand that travel plans sometimes change and aim to handle cancellations fairly.

Where permitted by law, C-Australia Tours may recover reasonable, demonstrable losses and costs arising from a cancellation. Depending on the circumstances, these may include non-refundable reservations and reasonable losses resulting from an inability to rebook the reserved dates.

In calculating any amount, we will consider refundable expenses, costs saved and reasonable opportunities to reduce the loss, including through replacement bookings.

The same loss will not be charged twice. We will explain the basis of any cancellation charge and the amount of any refund.

Nothing in these terms limits the guest’s statutory rights, including rights under Australian Consumer Law.

6. Changes to the journey

Every journey is individually designed, and flexibility is an important part of the C-Australia Tours experience.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes requested before or during the journey.

If a requested change involves additional costs, we will explain those costs and obtain the guest’s agreement before proceeding.

Significant changes to the duration, destinations or included services require separate agreement.

7. Changes or cancellation by C-Australia Tours

Weather conditions, bushfire risks, road closures, environmental conditions, government directions or other circumstances may require changes to an itinerary.

Where reasonably possible, we will offer suitable alternative experiences and discuss significant changes with the guest.

If C-Australia Tours must cancel a journey or cannot provide significant agreed services, the available options for a refund, rescheduling or another remedy will be determined in accordance with the agreement and applicable law.

A travel credit will not be the only option where the guest is legally entitled to a refund.

8. Transport, accommodation and activities

Transport is normally provided in the C-Australia Tours 4WD vehicle. Accommodation is provided as specified in the itinerary and may include a camper trailer.

Activities may include short walks, wildlife experiences and visits to national parks and other natural areas.

Guests must follow reasonable safety instructions, wear seatbelts and comply with applicable rules at the places visited.

C-Australia Tours may modify or omit an activity where reasonably necessary for safety.

9. Health and personal requirements

Guests are asked to advise us before departure of any circumstances that may materially affect their participation, safety, dietary requirements or need for assistance.

We aim to accommodate individual needs wherever practical. Guests should discuss special requirements with us in advance so we can assess what can safely and reasonably be provided.

Guests are responsible for bringing any personal medication they require.

10. Travel insurance and documents

We strongly recommend appropriate travel insurance covering illness, cancellation, luggage and relevant activities.

International visitors are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, appropriate visas and comply with applicable entry requirements.

11. Liability and consumer rights

C-Australia Tours aims to provide all agreed services with due care and skill.

Nature-based experiences and outdoor activities involve certain risks, which we seek to manage through planning and safety assessments.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Responsibility for any particular incident will be determined under applicable law.

12. Complaints and concerns

If any aspect of the journey does not meet the agreed arrangements, guests are encouraged to raise the issue with their guide as soon as possible so we have an opportunity to resolve it.

After the journey, concerns may be sent to info@c-australia.com.

We aim to handle complaints promptly and fairly. No contractual 21-day deadline automatically removes a guest’s statutory rights.

13. Governing law

The agreement is governed by the applicable laws of Victoria, Australia, and relevant Australian federal law, subject to any mandatory legal protections that may apply to the guest.
